The rain boots are lovely on and fit perfectly. I love the color and they are popular. You will have them for a long time. I love black/white always.

I have been hesitant to purchase any rain boots online due to the many reviews of either buying a bigger/smaller size than what you normally wear. 95% of the time, the shoes I purchase are in a size 8 (regular-medium). I also have athletic calves (17"!) and it's hard for me to find boots that fit. I tried these Zaria Polka Dot Rain Boots in Black/White in a size 8 and they fit perfectly even with my big calves, with room to spare and tuck in pants! I can see how other women would be "swimming" in the calf-part since it does have ample room. Yes, there is teesey bit of wiggle room in the foot (below half an inch) even while wearing regular socks. But it's great if I decide I want to wear thicker socks for winter. I don't have wide feet so these fit perfectly and not snug at all.
